Open House Or Not?
Dear Friend,
Here's a quick note to let you know how I can help you—or anyone you feel comfortable introducing me to.
Are open houses worthwhile? Here are some points to consider. There are really two different kinds of open houses: broker's and public open houses. Broker's opens showcase a new listing to brokers and agents who are very active. Remember, while 90% of home buyers start their search online, at least 80% of them will contact an agent to buy.
Broker's opens are an efficient way to expose your house to those agents, just as public open houses are an efficient way to get a lot of buyers through your house without having to set individual appointments.
While open houses might seem inconvenient, they generally save time, and there is always a chance that someone will walk in and buy.
